As a member of a council for diversity, equity, and inclusion, principles were integrated into all aspects of our organization, from recruitment and retention to community engagement and professional development. I participated in assessing current policies and practices, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending initiatives that fostered a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
